Part of the National Lottery-funded Stitching Change programme, this 4-hour creative workshop invites young people to transform an old sweater into something unique and personal. Participants will learn basic upcycling and textile techniques, explore sustainable fashion, and develop practical sewing and design skills. No previous experience is needed—just bring a sweater ready for a new life. By the end of the session, everyone will leave with a reworked garment and a greater understanding of how creativity can help reduce textile waste.
